I am looking for ideas for color combinations, or for things that you would like to see if you wanted one. Anything from Holidays, cartoon characters,.... whatever. Thanks for any help/advice to give.

    • Please can someone help - i have started a cross stitch from Lanarte - Sara Moon - and a part of the chart has been badly damaged. Is there anyone out there that can e.mail me a copy of the chart, please. The chart is sometimes called the bride, lady with lilac flowers, or Lady in cream and the chart number is LR33504 or nr34782. Thank you in advance for any help you may be able to offer. I live in hope! Marion.

    • Hi Stitchers, I'm looking for a JCA (Needle Treasures) Christmas stocking cross stitch kit named "Evergreen Outing". It is a picture of a man and boy dragging home the Christmas tree. My daughter (and her son) have just been proposed to and this would be the perfect stocking for my new son-in-law! Any help would be appreciated.

    • Hi fellow stitchers, I am looking for a cross-stitch pattern or kit that I saw years ago for sale in The Stitchery, but can no longer find anywhere. It is of a dragon with the words "no smoking". The only info I can find online after hours of research is that the pattern may have been from Anastasia Designs, and the only link I can find to Anastasia Designs is to a web site design company and a few other non-cross-stitch related links. I meant to purchase this kit years ago. This is a great example of "he who snoozes loses". If anyone has it or knows where I can get it, I sure will be eternally grateful!

    • I do not cross stitch, however I'm looking for a pattern for my mother of "The Steamboat Sprague, or "The Big Mama" that sat at the water front in Vicksburg, MS until it burned. She does have part of one , but most of it is missing. Any help in this matter will be most helpful. She is 82 years old, and cross stitches every day. thanking you in advance. Sharon

    • I am looking for a leaflet that featured the contest winners for a Christmas Quilt that was available for order from Cross Stitch & Country Crafts magazine, issue Sept/Oct 1992. Unfortunately I never got around to ordering it & would love to make it. Any help or suggestions as to where this might be available is greatly appreciated.

    • I am looking for a back issue of Just Cross Stitch, with charts for mini-ornaments. They were very small, wrapped around a small wood spool and held a birthday candle. There were christmas trees, poinsettias, bells, tree ornaments and I think one other pattern. I have used this more often than I would like to count, but I need to use it again for our Church Christmas fair. I believe it was around fall of 2000 or so, possibly later.

    • I am looking for a sampler pattern which has the words "For every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under heaven" in the design. It is probably quite an old pattern, so I wonder if anyone has it and would be prepared to sell it to me? Many thanks. It is an old-fashioned design, quite stylised and rather Jacobean in appearance, in lovely antique colours. I don't want to infringe copyright, obviously, but is there any way I could get hold of this pattern without breaking the law?

    • Hello, I'm trying to find a small pattern for an old pair of work boots. The laces are loose and hanging, and the boots are leaning slightly outward. It must be an old pattern, because the one I had, I purchased at a garage sale 15yrs. ago. Thank you, Elaine
  • S Taylor from NEWPORT NEWS -- Aug 07, 2008
    • I am looking for the pattern for a welcome sampler with a small cottage on it that I completed sometime around 1989.Not sure of the designer, but the pattern was a single leaflet, not a book. A friend wants to make it, but not sure what I did with the pattern.

    • To Jenn from IA - that would be great if you could find out anything about those Norman Rockwell patterns. I have the four "Rockwell" Disney versions and thought it would be really cool to have the actual Rockwell versions as well. That would be wonderful if you could find out how I might get a hold of those!! Have a great day! :-)
  • Toni from Sumter, SC -- Aug 06, 2008
    • Hi, Not sure if anything like this was ever available, but does anyone know of a cross stitch pattern of Norman Rockwell's Triple Self Portrait or Rockwell's Barbershop Quartet or Rockwell's Freedom from Want - not the Disney version, but actual Norman Rockwell??? Thanks for any help!!!

    • I hope someone can help me with the symbols on this Janlynn counted cross stitch. I know about the quarter and three quarter stitches, etc. But I don't understand the symbols on this pattern to know if that is the meaning or not. I hope I can "draw" how they look. In one block I see .: then in another block there is :. Another one is with two "dots" at the top of the block, another is with the symbol at top and bottom of the "slash" mark. I know these symbols are used for rounding and so forth of the pattern, but I have never seen them done this way and am totally confused and since this is a Mickey and Minnie wedding picture for my granddaughter I really want to make it correct. I have been cross stitching for more than 30 years and never have I seen symbols put like this. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Happy stitchin' Shirley
