Width and height you would like your design to be once it's stitched (on the fabric count you specify). Try to keep your proportions similar to your photo but we can adjust it as needed. We will also increase the size if necessary to produce enough detail. |

| Aida Count: |
'Stitches per inch' of the fabric you plan to stitch on: (14, 18, 22, ect.) The count is needed to determine the 'stitched size' - (a pattern stitched on 18ct will be smaller than if it was stitched on 14ct for example). If you're stitching 'over 2 threads' such as when using linen, please divide the count by 2 (i.e. 28 count linen stitched over 2 threads is actually 14 count for designing purposes) |
| Note: | If you're not familiar with aida you will need to consult your needlework supplier. 14 count is the most common fabric but if you don't mind working smaller stitches, 18 count will generally produce better detail and also 'smoother' looking stitches. |
