Depending on the photo, usually it's best to remove the background to reduce clutter and make the subject stand out more. Your fabric then becomes the background which also makes your pattern simpler (less stitching). You can keep the background if you like or let us decide if you're not sure. (We can also do partial background removal if you specify.)

| Colors: |
Typically, you will choose 'Normal color' but we can convert any photo (color or b&w) to monochrome tones like sepia tones*, grey tones, or even greens, blues, etc. We don't convert b&w photos to color though. If you have a b&w photo we will design it in tones of grey (so it looks like the photo) or we can change it to sepia tones, etc.
