About Crosstitch.com:

Starting way back in 1998, Crosstitch.com was one of the first, if not THE first to offer digital cross-stitch patterns online. Back then it had to be 'GIF' image files, but they worked and people could print them out at home. Now of course the patterns are PDF and offer much better resolution and print quality, you can even stitch right from your tablet, without printing it out. We've also taken on new designers over the years such as Ursula Michael and Artecy to build our catalog up to over 8000 patterns at last count.

Even though you can get your patterns online, I encourage you to support your local craft shop (if you're lucky enough to have one) by buying the threads and supplies, etc. The cross stitch hobby has declined quite a bit since the hey-day of the 80's but it's still alive and it's being discovered by new generations of young stitchers. Thank you to all the great people and loyal customers we've gotten to know over the years.

Also, if you're sharing patterns, or find them on Pinterest from some illegal photo gallery in Russia, please don't do that. Please consider purchasing at least 1 pattern from your favorite designers if you can afford it. Otherwise, there's really no incentive for anyone to be a cross-stitch designer.

For the creatively minded, you'll also want to check out our: Caption Maker, for creating your own text and borders. Choose from several different letter styles and borders and create your own instant pattern of your words or saying, etc. You can try it for free, I hope you enjoy it.

Thanks again,
