Thanks for visiting the Crosstitch.com message board... and a special thank you to all of our supporters. We've been online for 11 years now thanks to you!!!

You may have noticed that we've made some changes to our website and have added a shopping cart system for our online patterns. For some time we have had requests to sell our patterns individually, and this will also enable us to offer patterns from other designers and publishers in the future.
  • Please feel free to view, post, and reply to any messages on our public message board below.
  • All posts and replies are now personally screened for content before they go live.
  • Anyone can post a stitching or craft related message here - you don't have to be a member. Enjoy!
I would also like to take a moment to wish Estelle well while she works through her medical condition. Estelle and Marge have been a huge help for me in administrating this message board. Thank you both very much!

    • Hi- Am wanting to duplicate a precious gift I received when I had my son 21 years ago(!) for someone very special who is having her first baby. It is the little saying that goes: Cleaning and Scrubbing can wait 'til tomorrow...etc. etc....and babies don't keep. Do you know where I can find this pattern? It is interspersed w/ baby bottles, ducks, lambs, train, etc. Thanks for any help!

    • Just read online that Dimensions is closing its PA factory at the end of this year. Is it the only one that makes x-stitch kits/books? If so, I'm very sad. I'm a big fan of x-stitch and am upset that the craft seems to be dying. So many shops have closed. Breaks my heart!

    • When we visited the Grand Canyon, I bought a cross stitch set. It was supposed to be Native American, but it had the word German in the title. It has several small squares with each one being different. Somehow I lost the pattern! Can you help? (The Native Art Blanket was available at that store so I thought that might help.)

    • I have a finished and excellently framed cross stitch but it has a water mark on the aida backgroud. I do not want to take it apart for dry cleaning. Does anyone have an idea how to get a water mark removed, perhaps in some sort of "dry" or chemical fashion?? Thanks

    • I am in search of an old copy of a cross stitch magazine that featured a halloween full harvest moon done in one color either orange or gold/yellow on black aida cloth. Once the moon was stitched the black fabric designed a hunched back Halloween cat. This was a large project and I believe their were flying witches/bats in the background. Please help me locate a copy of the pattern or magazine. I think it came from the 1980's but not sure.

    • Help! My 16 year old floor stand that my recently deceased DDH gave me just fell apart & can't be fixed. I would be glad to take any and all suggestions as to where to look for a new one. It MUST be a floor stand, nothing that you sit on! Phone number, website, etc. There is a mega-Joann Fabrics and a Michaels nearby but they have **nothing**. I would welcome any and all suggestions, except Ebay, don't do that one! Thanks to all in advance.

    • One of my grandsons picked the pattern "Black Panther" I have trouble with my eyes which made it difficult for me to work on the black Aida. He then picked another pattern "The Shark" thinking it will be better on my eyes. Unfortunately that did not work, but I did start the Shark on white Aida, now the problem is what to do with the ocean, should I cross-stitch it in blue or is there a kind of felt pen that I can use to cover the ocean, please help???

    • I am looking for a pattern of Henry from the Thomas and Friends series. I have a copy of the book by Helena Turvey, but it is too cartoonish. I would like something more realistic. Has anyone seen a pattern anywhere?
